Updates from Google

In the last newsletter we wrote about Google’s SDV announcement: Beyond Infotainment: Extending Android Automotive OS for Software-defined Vehicles

Now there is an update to the timeline:

June 2026 is when Google’s AAOS SDV platform will be open source in AOSP. “…later this year.” is now June 2026!

AOSP/AAOS content will also be part of droidcon Berlin this year. droidcon Berlin is colocated with additional events under the name next.app dev.con. The call for papers is open until 1st of July. See nextappcon.com for details.
